Vendor: Hull Construction and Restoration, Inc. Term: No change in contract term. Amount: $5,700.00 Scope: Under the Emergency Declaration for the “Family School 32 Masonry Repairs” Hull Construction will provide the labor materials and scissor lift equipment for access to the second-story masonry façade, remove two (2) sections of three (3) courses of brick to expose the existing lintel and flashing and making water tight. This work is required for the Architect to determine cause of the failing masonry façade and testing of flashing for asbestos.

WHEREAS via Resolution 18.13 dated April 17, 2024, the Board of Education authorized the award of Contract No. 2024-0794 for General Construction Work, Contract 1, for Project No. 10876 “Phase 1 of 2 for Window Replacement, Masonry, Interior Improvements & Site Work” at Family School 32 to Hull Construction and Restoration, Inc. for $1,523,900.00 and a term of 1,000 calendar days, and WHEREAS in the course of executing the contracted work it was determined that additional work was required for masonry restoration work under District Emergency Declaration, and WHEREAS the fee for this added work is for the negotiated lump sum price of $5,700.00, revising the contract from $1,523,900.00 to $1,529,600.00. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue Change Order 1 to Contract No. 2024-0794 for General Construction Work, Contract 1, for Project No. 10876 “Phase 1 of 2 for Window Replacement, Masonry, Interior Improvements & Site Work” at Family School 32 to Hull Construction and Restoration, Inc. for the amount of $5,700.00, revising the contract amount from $1,523,900.00 to $1,529,600.00 and no change in contract term.
