Rationale: Term:March 2025 – June 2025 Amount: $57,825 Scope: The Anatomage- Virtual Dissection Tool, hardware and software is a highly advanced 3D anatomy visualization and virtual dissection tool. It supplements dual-credit courses like Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology. Anatomage Bodies allows students to explore the human body's different levels of detail visually. Students can interact with over 2,500 anatomical structures. It provides a hands-on digital autopsy that prepares students for medical careers.

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Anatomage Inc. to purchase the Anatomage- Virtual Dissection Tool to support the NYS Pathways in Early College High Schools (PTECH) program at Charles E. Gorton High School for the 2024-2025 school year, WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Anatomage Inc. a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and, WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Anatomage Inc. to purchase these items, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Anatomage Inc. at a cost not to exceed $57,825.
