Rationale: To settle a potential grievance regarding the District’s provision of a stipend to Special Education School Aides and School Aides who performed services during the 2023-2024 school year as specified in the agreement.
Funding:
Resolution: WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the YCSD and CSEA desire to settle a potential grievance; and WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the YCSD and CSEA have reached an Agreement; and WHEREAS, The Board of Education of the YCSD has had an opportunity to review the terms of the Agreement, and finds that the terms are fair, reasonable and appropriate under the circumstances; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of YCSD hereby approves the Agreement; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Superintendent of Schools, Anibal Soler, Jr., and those under his direction are authorized to take all steps necessary to effectuate the Agreement.
