Rationale: This resolution is to assign the subject task for 10918 “Demolition of Townhouse A & B and Improvements” at William Boyce Thompson School, for $29,5000.00 to Fuller & D’Angelo, PC, Architects and Planners for a term of 365 calendar days under standing requirements contract 2020-0628 for Architectural Services.

F&D’s base proposal is for $29,500.00 to provide services that include but are not limited to: review existing drawings, field inspect the structure, confirm existing conditions using this information to create signed and sealed documents that will be submitted to SED for permitting and closeout.

This includes asbestos abatement sampling, testing and abatement design as well as project monitoring. They will also be providing construction support.

This project cost is currently anticipated to be $250,000.00 and taking place this fall.

Due to time constraints, this RFP was issued only to F&D and KG&D Architects. KG&D requested that they pass due to work-loads in the District and elsewhere. F&D responded and has worked on numerous other projects and is well qualified to undertake this project.

Resolution: Ladies and Gentlemen:

WHEREAS: under Resolution 15.15 dated February 26, 2020, the Board authorized the award of Contract 2020-0628 for Architectural Services to Fuller & D’Angelo, PC. Architects in response to District RFQ404 for an amount of $1,000,000.00, and

WHEREAS: architectural services as specified under Contract 2020-0628 are required for CIP10918 “Demolition of Townhouse A & B and Improvements” at William Boyce Thompson School, and

WHEREAS: the response by Fuller & D’Angelo, PC. Architects, to a request for proposal is deemed most advantageous to the District with assignment Architectural services of the proposal at a cost not to exceed $29,500.00.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to assign Fuller & D’Angelo, PC. Architects, P.C., 45 Knollwood Road, Elmsford, New York 10523 to the task of providing Architectural services for CIP 10918 “Demolition of Townhouse A & B and Improvements” at William Boyce Thompson School under On-Call Services Contract 2020-0628 to Fuller & D’Angelo, PC. Architects, in the amount of $29,500.00 for 365 calendar days.
