Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C. Amount: $33,500.00 Scope: By Resolution 19.10 dated April 19, 2023, the Board of Education approved the recommendation to default Benchmark Construction Group, Inc., Contract# 2021-0725 for CIP 10874 “Interior Renovations, Doors, Security and Site Work” at Riverside High School. Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C. (E&R) will provide additional construction administration services for overseeing the takeover and completion of the work by the Bonding Company. E&R’s scope of work will include coordinating work to be completed with the bonding company’s designated contractor, reviewing submittals, providing on-site constructions inspections, construction meetings, reporting and assisting the bonding company in completing the GC closeout documents. E&R proposes to complete this work for the amount of $33,500.00.

WHEREAS by Resolution 15.2 dated August 21, 2019, the Board of Education authorized the award of a requirements based, professional Architectural/Engineering services Contract# 2020-0594 to Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C. in response to District RFP404 “Architectural & Engineering Services for the School Facilities Management Department” for an amount not to exceed $2 million, and WHEREAS architectural/engineering services as specified under the above contract are required for design and modification of existing construction plan and specifications for the above stated additional work, and WHEREAS the response by Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C. is to be deemed most advantageous to the District at a cost of $33,500.00. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue Amendment 5 to Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C. by $33,500.00, increasing their assignment to $463,024.50.00.
