Scope: To authorize Amendment 3 to Service Contract No. 2022-0055 “Maintenance and Repairs of YPS Elevators” to Alliance Elevator DBA Unitec Elevator Company, for $193,000.00 and 365 calendar days.
This extension is for the third of five contractually available annual extensions.
This is the general fund annual service contract for the preventive maintenance and the necessary repairs of all existing elevators and lifts throughout the District. |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS via Board Resolution Item 16.30 dated June 16, 2021, Contract No. 2022-0055 “Maintenance and Repairs of YPS Elevators” was awarded to Alliance Elevator DBA Unitec Elevator Company, for $193,000.00 and 365 calendar days, and
WHEREAS via Board Resolution 20.28 dated June 14, 2022, this contract was renewed (extended) for the first of five available extensions, increasing the contract to $386,000.00 and the term to 730 calendar days, and
WHEREAS via Board Resolution 19.32 dated June 21, 2023, this contract was renewed (extended) for the second of five available extensions, increasing the contract to $579,000.00 and the term to 1,095 calendar days, and
WHEREAS there is mutual consent of the parties to extend said contract for the third one-year period.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue Extension 3 of Contract No. 2022-0055 “Maintenance and Repairs of YPS Elevators” to Alliance Elevator DBA Unitec Elevator Company, increasing the term to 1,460 calendar days and amount to $772,000.00. |
