Rationale:
|
Via Resolutions at their stated meetings, the Board of Trustees assigned E&R the A/E services for the projects referenced below under contract 617107, however, due to the expiration of that contract, it benefits the District to re-assign these tasks to their recently awarded contract 2020-00000594.

Via Resolution 15.15, at their stated meeting on February 26, 2020, the Board of Trustees awarded E&R a capital funded contract for on-call Architectural Services for an amount not to exceed $1 million each over a period of three years.
This resolution is to re-assign the three referenced projects above to E&R’s new contract # 2020-00000594.

Ladies and Gentlemen;
WHEREAS: under Resolution 15.15 at the stated meeting on February 26, 2020, the Board of Education authorized the award of a requirements based, professional Architectural/Engineering services contract to Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C. in response to District RFP404 “On-Call Architectural Services for the School Facilities Management Department” for an amount not to exceed $1 million, and
WHEREAS: Via Resolution 15.2 at their stated meeting on August 21, 2019, the Board of Trustees, under contract 617107, awarded Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C. Capital Project 10874 “Interior Renovations, Doors, Security and Site Work” at Riverside High School, and
WHEREAS: Via Resolution 15.3 at their stated meeting on August 21, 2019, the Board of Trustees, under contract 617107, awarded Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C. Capital Project 10875 of Professional Architectural/Engineering Services Task CIP 10875 “Roof, Heating Plant & Window Replacement and Interior Upgrades” at Martin Luther King Jr. School, and
WHEREAS: Via Resolution 15.24 at their stated meeting on January 22, 2020, the Board of Trustees, under contract 617107, awarded Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C. Capital Project 10883 “Emergency Removal and Replacement of the Heating Oil Tank” at Roosevelt High School, and
WHEREAS: an amendment is required for all three assignments to re-assign them to Contract 2020-00000594 effective to their respective start dates.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to amend assignments for CIP10874, CIP10875 and CIP10883 for Architectural/Engineering services previously awarded to Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C., 291 Genessee Street, Utica, NY 13501, to be provided under Contract 2020-00000594 retroactive to their start dates.
