Scope: This change order is necessary to allocate additional funding to carry out repairs to Lincoln High School’s exterior masonry façade and concrete support columns under emergency declaration to safeguard the façade and columns until a permanent restoration project can be designed, permitted and bid.

Resolution:

WHEREAS via resolution 11.16 dated November 20, 2024, the Board of Education authorized the award of Contract No. 2025-0449 “On-Call Maintenance, Service and Repairs of Roof and Masonry Systems” to Milcon Construction Corp. for $472,527.16 and a term of 365 calendar days, renewable for up to four additional years by mutual consent under the same terms and conditions, and
WHEREAS an Emergency Declaration was issued on March 21, 2025 for “Masonry Façade & Concrete Column Repairs” at Lincoln High School, and
WHEREAS additional work under said contract is required for the “Masonry Façade & Concrete Column Repairs” at Lincoln High School under Emergency Declaration for $325,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend Contract No. 2025-0449 “On-Call Maintenance, Service and Repairs of Roof and Masonry Systems” to Milcon Construction Corp. in the amount of $325,000.00, increasing the contract amount from $472,527.16 to $797,527.16 through December 3, 2025.
