Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: by Resolution Board Item No. 20.11 at the Board of Trustees stated meeting on January 20, 2021, contract No. 2021-00000543 was recommended for award to J&M Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., 395 Adams Street, Bedford Hills NY 10507, and,
WHEREAS: in the course of executing the contracted work it was determined that work was not required to be performed to complete the project resulting is a credit in the amount of $12,500.00, decreasing the overall cost of the contract from $279,500.00 to $267,000, and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to issue Change Order 1 CREDIT to contract No. 2021-00000543, HVAC WORK, CIP10892 & 10893 “HVAC Improvements” at the School 30 and Palisade Preparatory School to J&M Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. for the amount of $12,500.00, decreasing the overall cost of the contract from $279,500.00 to $267,000.
