(S.I.C. Film School LLC) Term: July 1, 2024 – July 26, 2024 Amount: $30,000 Scope: To provide education on film production from pre-production to post-production during the Summer S.T.E.A.M. Academy for 7th and 8th graders in the district. Students will learn film theory, lighting, camera, social impact, screenwriting, line production, art department, blocking, principal photography and editing. S.I.C. Film School LLC is a sole source provider.

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with S.I.C. Film School LLC to purchase services to support program offerings in the Summer S.T.E.A.M. Academy for the summer of 2024, WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with S.I.C. Film School LLC a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and, WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with S.I.C. Film School LLC to provide these services, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with S.I.C. Film School LLC at a cost not to exceed $30,000.
